‘No Recordings’, PPP Only Available For Geo’s Live Shows
The news channel edited Shah's comments against allegations leveled by Fawad Chaudhry against the Sindh government
A minister of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is after Geo television’s anchorperson Shahzad Iqbal for editing their comments from recordings and decided to be available only for live shows.
Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah appeared on Sunday’s Naya Pakistan show to counter allegations leveled by Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry against Sindh government.
Shah commented that the federal minister who used to complot against Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was now spreading rumors against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Continuing the discussion, the information minister countered Fawad’s remarks regarding Sindh police saying the force has sacrificed endlessly in maintaining the law and order situation in the metropolis Karachi.
Nasir Hussain Shah, who was satisfied to make his views clear in the show’s recording, was astonished to learn how the producer altered his statements into the ones that favored the ruling government.
However, he was shocked to hear his words when the show was telecast as he heard himself saying something that he didn’t actually say.
The minister took to his Twitter handle and condemned manipulation on part of the channel that he alleged had partnered with Tabdeeli Sarkar (ruling government) which triggered falsification.
Today I was invited to GeoNews Naya Pakistan show n after Fawad’s blames I answered everything in detail with facts. But this show became the partner of selected sarkar n edited all my interview. From today onwards, I will only be a part of Geo TV’s live shows, not recorded.
