After Ovais Mangalwalaa raised concerns at a group photo of the G7 Leaders from the Summit, the senior journalist called him a 'donkey'

Hum News breakfast show host Ovais Mangalwala caught into a fiery argument with senior journalist Asmatullah Niazi over a group photo of the G7 Leaders from the Summit in United Kingdom (UK).

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mangalwala raised his concerns on a group photo of G7 leaders who were not following the precautionary guidelines whilst watching a flypast.

Responding to Ovais, senior journalist Asmatullah Niazi first called him a ‘donkey’ and went on to say that all people in the photo were already vaccinated and it was completely fine to be without a mask.

Following Niazi’s harsh comment, Ovais couldn’t control his emotions and the two caught into a heated discussion.

Losing decency too, Ovais grilled Asmatullah and asked why he mentioned his father’s name at the beginning of the conversation when it was not required.

In an alleged threatening comment, Niazi reiterated that Ovais has proven himself as a ‘donkey’ and further referred names of channel’s high-ups from whom the host could learn some manners.

Moreover, Ovais said that he revered Niazi as a journalist, however, the way he addressed him initially was very disrespectful and offered to tender an apology if he removed ‘donkey’ word from his tweet.

Continuing the argument, Niazi remained stubborn and added that he doesn’t regret his choice of words as the morning show host posted without fact-check.

Once again, the senior journalist threatened the morning show host that he would approach Hum TV owners to teach him some manners.

Irritated with Niazi’s behavior, Ovais Mangalwala shared the screenshots of the never-ending thread saying that these are the so-called senior journalists whose choice of words reflects their mental backwardness.

Ovais added when they are answered on their level, they try to threaten by calling out names of the organisations’ owners.

Niazi blew a gasket at the morning show host again and asked to confirm his slot for tutoring.
