Lahore: Firing at Latif Khosa’s house after his smokey speech

After a smoky speech at All Pakistan Lawyers Convention held in Lahore, unknown persons opened fire at house of senior jurist and former governor Punjab Latif Khosa late at night, his driver was injured in the incident.

The incident took place at Latif Khosa’s residence in Defense Lahore, after which senior lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan and SP Cantt Owais Shafiq reached the scene. The investigation process has been started by the police.

Former governor of Punjab and eminent jurist Latif Khosa said that there was a shooting incident at my house in which my driver was injured. Latif Khosa said that unknown persons escaped after firing at the house.

It should be noted that Latif Khosa gave a fiery speech at the All Pakistan Lawyers Convention held in Lahore yesterday. He said that even today the jails are full, you cannot try a civilian under the Army Act, this black coat does not accept such a system, the government does not accept the constitution, we do not accept this government.

On this occasion, senior jurist Hamid Khan said that whenever the constitution was attacked in Pakistan, lawyers actively participated to protect it, the situation we are going through today is called undisclosed martial law.

He said that calling a military court a court is an insult to the concept of a court.

He said that at present some forces are dividing the lawyers and the courts, they have succeeded in dividing the courts to some extent, if the courts are alive then the constitution is alive and if the constitution is alive then we are alive, our profession is the constitution and Life cannot be imagined without law. The lawyers who are attacking the judiciary and the constitution are not lawyers.

Lahore High Court Bar President Ishtiaq A Khan warned that if the arrested lawyers are not released within 2 days, the High Court Bar will start a movement from Monday. I ask the Judiciary not to shed tears for their helplessness, take decisions, this Black Court will stand with the Judiciary. He said that the High Court is going to form committees for the arrested people which will support the arrested people.

It should be noted that before Latif Khosa, there was a bomb attack on the house of Azhar Siddiq, a senior advocate of the Supreme Court, after which he was forced to leave the country. has expressed deep concern.
