Rare Instance: Anchorpersons Swap Media Houses For The First Time!
Meher Bokhari has joined Hum News as she bode farewell to Dawn News whereas Adil Shahzeb will now be part of Dawn
In a rare instance, two anchorpersons have not just joined two new news channels but they have literally swapped roles.
Meher Bokhari has joined Hum News as she bode farewell to Dawn News whereas Adil Shahzeb will now be part of Dawn. The rare instance would be that both anchorpersons will be hosting primetime shows at 10 pm just like previous workplaces.
However, the show format will be revealed only when Meher Bokhari starts hosting it on Hum News.
On the slot Meher is likely to replace Adil Shahzeb, the format was entirely different from what she hosted on Dawn News and vice-versa.
The reason for her departure from the channel isn’t certain but she hinted that news-DNAs of her and Dawn News are not synchronized anymore just like they did back in 2013 at the time of her joining after the leaked video saga.
Somewhere during the last decade, #DAWN & I had our news-DNA synchronized. Its been my honour to have been part of & a product of this great legacy.
Through change we must evolve & grow, I look forward to just that at @humnewspakistan#MeherJoinsHumNews #HumNews pic.twitter.com/icbec2JG7T— Meher Bokhari (@meherbokhari) February 22, 2021
