Sindh Govt Sets New Date For Orange Line After Years
The four-kilometer track will be completed in July this year while the buses will be delivered from China in December
The Sindh government has fixed a new date for completion of Bus Raid Transport (BRT) Orange Line project which was supposed to be completed in 2017.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced yesterday that the project would commence in 2022.
However, a Twitter user shared the advertisement of the project from 2016.
In Feb 2016, @SindhCMHouse launched #OrangeLine BRT which is just 4kms (one-sixth of #GreenLine).
5.5 years later Sindh Govt wants 1 more year to complete it, as track isn’t ready & no buses
So the 4km track will require 7 years to complete
