Leaders of Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have condemned the action of Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation on the office of private TV channel Bol News.
Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) condemned the raid of the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation on the office of private TV channel Bol News and demanded the Prime Minister take notice.

KJJ President Faheem Siddiqui and General Secretary Liaquat Ali Rana issued a statement saying that harassment of journalists and media workers in Bol News office is intolerable.
It has been said in the declaration that a raid is possible for the investigation related to the arrest of Bol News Co-Chairman Shoaib Sheikh, but intimidation, intimidation, and harassment of journalists and media workers are condemnable.
According to KUJ, forcing journalists and media workers out of the building during the raid was an abuse of power, which disrupted the broadcast of the TV channel.
Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) has demanded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandia to take immediate notice of this incident at Media House.

On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including former Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry also condemned the action of the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation in the office of Bol News.

Fawad Chaudhry, in a message from his Twitter handle, condemned the Customs raid on Bol News office. He said that the media should put aside their differences and unite against these fascist efforts.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib said that the imported government wants to suppress the independent voice of every media, which presents the truth to the people, and freedom of press has been restricted in Shahbaz Sharif’s government.

The President and Managing Director of Bol News, Sami Ibrahim, has said in his message that an attempt is being made to stop our transmission by raiding the office of a government organization in Karachi. Chief Justice takes notice.
A protest was held against the raid on Bol News under Pakistan Union of Journalists. President PFUJ and Secretary General Arshad Ansari said that there will be a nationwide protest against the raid on Bol News.
President PFUJ Afzal Butt said in his statement that the customs raid on the head office of Bol News Karachi is condemnable, the raid on Bol News after the arrest of Shoaib Sheikh shows the government’s malice.
It should be noted that on the orders of the District Sessions Judge Zilla Sharqi, the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi raided the head office of Bol News on the suspicion of the presence of non-customs duty-paid goods.
