Supreme Court orders to hold elections in Punjab and KPK within 90 days

In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Notice Case, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered to hold elections in both provinces within 90 days.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had reserved the verdict of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa election notification case after hearing the arguments of all the lawyers, which has now been pronounced.
The larger bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has given the decision. A 5-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the case for four days.

Both the honorable judges have disagreed on giving the deadline for the elections. The two judges also raised objections to the admissibility of the petitions.
Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial has written in his decision that the Election Commission of Pakistan will be bound to conduct elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within 90 days.
The Chief Justice has written in his judgment that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, since the assembly was dissolved with the signature of the governor, therefore the governor in KP will give the date of the elections, while in Punjab the governor did not sign the dissolution of the assembly, so for the elections in Punjab. The President will give the date.
