Two Senior Journalists Show The Freedom Media Wants
The community members have requested both to stop washing dirty linen in public as it is against their stature
Two senior journalists have locked horns with each other and washed dirty linen in public. For the past few days, Rauf Klasra and Absar Alam are throwing barbs at each other on Twitter.
Absar Alam is a seasoned journalist who has served as the former chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Authority (PEMRA).
Rauf Klasra has remained affiliated with Jang Group for a long time and is currently associated with GNN
Both senior journalists are accusing each other of taking favors from governments and other powers for getting elevation.
Absar Alam told Rauf Klasra that he has been lying against him for the past several years at the behest of his owner.
“I wish I had fed a snake instead of you. So maybe he wasn’t so hypocritical, jealous, cunning and a liar”, Absar wrote.

In response, Rauf Klasra took to his Twitter and wrote, “Sometimes you say that you are the reason for Nawaz Sharif to become the prime minister. Sometimes you say that General Bajwa was made the Army Chief on your recommendation.”

“What do you know about journalism?”, Rauf said to Absar in another tweet, calling him a courtier of the royal family.
The community members have pleaded with both journalists to stop washing dirty linen in public as it is against their stature.
Some users have commented that the incident shows the kind of freedom that the media men want.
