As a step against rising violence and harassment against women, Punjab police have launched the ‘Women Safety App’.

It will also enable the police to trace the location of the complainants through their smartphones.
Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Inam Ghani said all women who use smartphones should download Women Safety App to stay in touch with the police in case of emergency.
