Is Ramiz Raja Not a Good Omen For Pakistan’s Cricket?
The reorganization of the management ahead of the T20 World Cup has worried Pakistani fans who think that the chances of winning the mega event starting October are bleak
It seems like Pakistan cricket is at the nexus of trouble even before new Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja has assumed the charge and fans are speculating if he is a good omen for the sport.
The reorganization of the management ahead of the T20 World Cup has worried Pakistani fans who think that the chances of winning the mega event starting October are bleak.
Sources said Ramiz Raja directed bowling coach Waqar Younis to resign while head coach Misbah-ul-Haq was pressurized to an extent that he stepped down.

However, some media reports suggest that both coaches decided to step down themselves.
With the mega event just nearly a month away, the Pakistani cricket fans don’t see the changes as a good omen.
Abdul Razzaq and Saqlain Mushtaq have been given interim roles for the T20 series against New Zealand starting September 17.
The fans are seen divided on the shuffle in the management of the team at this hour and they say Ramiz Raja should have waited for the World Cup to be over, at least.
The cricket lovers also want the new PCB chairman to intervene in the squad selection for the mega event as they spot many key players missing.
Pakistan can still tweak its side until October 10 and many fans hope that Ramiz Raja will interfere, at least for once before he hires a new chief selector.
The fans have pleaded with the new PCB chairman to save Pakistan cricket before the T20 World Cup.
