After a hiatus of 18 years, New Zealand (NZ) is visiting Pakistan to play One-Day International (ODI) and T20I series.

The security arrangements for the anticipated tour have been completed by Pakistani authorities.

The Kiwis will land at Islamabad International Airport (IIA) on Saturday while the visiting team has been exempted from rapid antigen testing by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Besides security arrangements, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (RCS) looks all set to host the inaugural match of the series.

Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the series and has been put under quarantine.

It is still unclear if he will be part of the Pakistani side in the upcoming matches.

Further, the treat for Pakistani cricket fans will start with the tour of Kiwis. After Black Caps, the England cricket team will visit Pakistan to play T20Is.

After them, a tour of the West Indies for white-ball games is also on the cards.

Australia will also fly to Pakistan in February or March of next year after 1998.
