At the sudden call-off, the former English skipper was angry and took to his Twitter account to express his frustration.

Former England fast bowler Steve Harmison joined Vaughan in the diatribe against IPL.

“The IPL starts in five days, and a month before the tour started India asked if they could move the last Test match forward or clear four days so they can fit the IPL in. All of a sudden this happens. It doesn’t sit well with me and I feel so sorry for the people of Manchester”, Harmison told TalkSport.

Along with them, hundreds of cricket fans also believe the same and blame IPL for destroying cricket.

According to media reports, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly will travel to England on September 22 to meet with English cricket representatives to decide the possible rescheduling of the canceled test match.
