‘Investigative Journalism Fell as Focus Shifted to Money Making’

Pakistani senior journalist Wusat Ullah Khan, who is currently working in the Dawn News program Zara hat Kay, says that he has been continuing his journey with the channel as they don’t instruct or restrict him from expressing his views.

Answering a question, he said that it is the responsibility of the news editor to follow proper journalism ethics and deliver the news in a presentable way and with a factual check.

According to Wusat Ullah, people who are working in newspapers and news channels are also following citizen journalism as they are working like robots and there isn’t investigating reporting going on.
