For Kamala Harris, it doesn’t make any difference to share that she brought her Asian instincts into use as she googled the love of his life and husband, Doug Emhoff, before meeting him on a blind date.

Kamala Harris will become the first female and Asian-origin woman to be the Vice-President of the US.

The couple got married in 2014 in California. Harris is a stepmother to Doug’s two children from his previous marriage.

Doug Emhoff and Kamala Harris are married for six years now and both are learning new things about each other’s personality every day.

They have some secrets in their lovely relationship one of which Kamala shared with her followers in an interview of which even her husband was unaware as well.

Perhaps compelled by her Indian-instincts that she inherited from her mother, Kamala Harris googled husband Doug Emhoff before meeting him on a blind date, probably killing the meaning of the meeting as she already collected facts before facing somebody who would become her husband.

The loving couple also doesn’t shy to share other things about their private life.

When Kamala Harris was asked would she refer to Doug as the second gentleman, a term which has evolved after Kamala became the first female Vice-President of the US, she did not take a second and replied, “ No, I’ll call him ‘honey’”.
