Indian Student Was One-Day CM Like Nayak Movie
Parents of the young chief minister thanked the state’s government and expressed that it would send a message that boys and girls were equal
Nayak movie in which Indian film actor Anil Kapoor became the chief minister (CM) for a day just got real for a 20-year-old student in India who became the CM of Uttarakhand on January 24.
Shrishti Goswami is a B.Sc student and was elected as the Chief Minister for three years in Bal Vidhan Sabha which is the Children’s State Assembly in 2018.
The symbolic event was organized by the state commission to make the children familiar with the democratic system.
National Girl Child Day on January 24, the Indian student Shrishti was honored to assume the office of the real-CM for a day.
Although symbolically, this was the first time in the history of Uttarakhand that a girl assumed the office of the state’s chief minister.
During the day, the 20-year-old participated in the mock children assembly session held in the state’s assembly in which officials from different departments including education, women and child development, tourism, and others gave presentations to the one-day CM.
