Six Palestinian Prisoners Film-Like Escape From Israeli Prison
According to different media reports, the tunnel was dug below a toilet in the cell and the path served as a conduit to outside
In a film-like scene, six Palestinian prisoners escaped the high-security Israeli Gilboa prison on Monday.
Just like a Hollywood adventure movie, the prisoners dug a tunnel and escaped from the high-security facility.
They are claimed by the Israeli forces to be belonging to the Islamic Jihad group.
According to different media reports, the tunnel was dug below a toilet in the cell and the path served as a conduit to outside.

The escapees include Zakariye Zubeidi, 46, a former Fatah party leader, and five members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad who were serving life imprisonment.
The manhunt for the prisoners is underway by the Israeli security forces.

Roadblocks and pickets have been set up to round up the high-profile prisoners while helicopters are also taking part in the search operation.
Israeli authorities say the suspects could have escaped to Jenin city or they could be hiding in the agricultural fields around the jail.
Hamas has termed the breakout as a brazen failure of Israel’s security system.
Gilboa prison is deemed to be one of the highly secure prisons of Israel and breakouts are extremely rare.
