Gold Price Stays Stable Amid Wedding Season

Currently, the gold in Pakistan is being sold for Rs 110,000 per tola and the citizens are reaching out in markets to complete their preparations

The wedding season has already started in Karachi and the gold price didn’t surge and now people have a chance to complete their preparations.

The biggest concern for a low-income family in Pakistan is to arrange gold for their daughters on their big day and thus a lot of times it becomes difficult for them to manage their expenses.

Currently, the gold in Pakistan is being sold for Rs 110,000 per tola and the citizens are reaching out in markets to complete their preparations.

Since the gold price remained unchanged, the value of 10 grams of gold was sold at Rs 94,307.

Previously, the dollar currency rate has increased in Pakistan, and thereby people feared that this would have an impact on the gold.

However, the prediction didn’t work out this wedding season and the price of gold didn’t increase, allowing people to choose the best designs for their loved ones.

Considering the chaotic situation due to the coronavirus pandemic, wedding halls and markets were closed and a lot of events were either canceled or celebrated on the small scale.

But now, as the situation in the country has resumed to normal and the government has also permitted for the gatherings following the precautionary guidelines, citizens are seem contended with the unchanged price.
