A ‘Bisexual’ Superman To Save Earth in New Series

The son of the original Superman took over for his father, and now he will be shown falling in love with a male character in the series

In a rare move, the fifth issue of DC’s comic series will have a bisexual Superman that will be sharing a relationship with Jay Nakamura, a new character introduced earlier this year.

As confirmed by DC, the Man of Steel will fall for a male reporter and enters into a queer relationship in the upcoming comic series.

“The fifth issue of the DC comic series “Superman: Son of Kal-El” will confirm that the new Superman — Jon Kent, child of Clark Kent and Lane — is bisexual after falling for Jay Nakamura, a male reporter”, DC announced.

Earlier this year, the son of the original Superman took over for his father, and now he will be shown falling in love with a male character in the series.

It looks like that the new Superman is depicting the character as a more modern one and will face off the issues like climate change and school shootings.

“Superman’s symbol has always stood for hope, for truth, and for justice. Today, that symbol represents something more. Today, more people can see themselves in the most powerful superhero in comics”, said the series writer Tom Taylor.
