Umbereen Fatima, wife of blogger Ahmed Noorani, who allegedly leaked audio of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar, has filed for divorce.
Sharing a message on social networking site Twitter, Ahmad Noorani’s wife, Umbereen Noorani, wrote: “I never said a word or sent any papers. Established without showing divorce papers to anyone.

Blogger Ahmad Noorani revelation
Ahmed Noorani, a blogger and journalist affiliated with Fact Focus, released the alleged audio about former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar on November 21
In the alleged audio of Fact Fox, former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar is saying, “Unfortunately, our powerful institutions are saying that Mian Sahib should be punished, and it has been said that we have to bring Imran Khan.”
The other side of the audiotape said, “There is no case against the daughter.”
On this, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar can be heard saying, “You are absolutely right. I told my friends to do something about it, but my friends did not agree with me. Independence of Judiciary.” Will not be free.
In the alleged audiotape, Justice (Retd) Saqib Nisar is saying that although no case has been registered against Maryam Nawaz, she will still have to be punished.
Later, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar denied the clip, calling the self-attributed viral audio fake.
However, FactFocus correspondent Ahmed Noorani claimed that “forensics of the audio recording was obtained from a US company which has confirmed the authenticity of the sound.
Attack on Umbereen Fatima
The audio of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar was released on November 21. Exactly four days after the alleged audio leak, on November 25, Ahmad Noorani’s wife Umbereen Fatima was attacked in his car in Lahore.
“I was on my way home from school with the children when a car approached the house and attacked the car with an iron object. It hit the windscreen three times,” said Fatima. He threatened to kill her and fled.
Commenting on the attack on Umbereen Fatima, Ahmad Noorani said that it was absolutely wrong to link the attack on my wife to the audio leak. The attack has nothing to do with this audio leak.
