‘79% Pakistanis Haven’t Watched Indian Movies in The Past Year’
Gallup Pakistan questioned men and women from all four provinces, “Please tell, have you seen any Indian movies in the last year?”
According to a survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan, a large number of Pakistanis are fed up with Indian movies and dramas.
The survey says that 79% of Pakistanis have not watched a single Indian film in the last year.
The survey questioned adult men and women from all four provinces which Indian film or drama they watched during the year.

In response, 21% of them said that they have seen only one Indian film in a year while 79% said “No, I have not seen any Indian film or drama during the year”.
This means that nearly 4 in 5 Pakistanis say that they have not watched any Indian movies in the past year.

According to the survey, 23% of males admitted to watching Indian films in the last year as compared to 15% of females.
These movie lovers prefer the content in different languages especially Korean other than Indian which has lost the essence of storytelling.
