Pakistani author Bina Shah raised a sarcastic question that was perceived as it was targeting Prime Minister Imran Khan but it revealed the other side of his admirers turned critics.
Bina reached out to her Twitter handle and wrote, “What do we call an honest man who surrounds himself with corrupt people?”

Many users linked that Bina’s question was for Imran Khan who had been voicing for something similar in the 2018 elections campaign when he used to highlight that his party too has some corrupt team members but his vision is clear and impactful.

Seeing Maheen and Deepak’s reply, internet users recalled the time of the 2018 elections when Imran khan holds significant importance and thousands of renowned personalities were hopeful with the PTI party.
In the 2018 elections campaign, Imran Khan stimulated people from all walks of life who were also chanting the slogan of ‘change’.
However, the tables are turned for Imran Khan as the performance of the PTI government in the last 3 years didn’t stir up the nation and the admirers-turned-critics are losing their hopes in ‘Naya Pakistan’.
And so is the case in the entertainment industry of Pakistan as Deepak Perwani and Maheen Khan couldn’t find the light at the end of the tunnel with Imran Khan’s vision.
