Web Series Will Break Content Limits Faced by TV: Zhalay Sarhadi

The Yaar Na Bichray leading star Zhalay Sarhadi prefers doing dramas over films as she believes that the same writers and directors are scripting and producing the ideas for both mediums thereby they failed to distinguish between the two.

According to Zhalay, scriptwriter Nadeem Baig, the duo Fiza Ali & Nabeel Qureshi are among the list of people who understand the essence of film writing and production.

Commenting on the verge of web series, Zhalay said that there are certain limitations imposed in television in terms of content and for the sake of ratings, the same characters and plot are repeated in almost every script with little twists.

Talking to News360, Zhalay said that the entertainment industry has to carefully define some boundaries related to web series if they want it to last longer than television.
