Will Illness of ‘Fifty Fifty’ Comedian End up Like Umer Sharif?
Neither the government arranged any funds for Majid Jahangir nor his colleagues contacted him
Majid Jahangir, popularly known as a renowned comedian of show Fifty Fifty, is in dire straits and internet users are concerned that government might treat him like late Umer Sharif.
A Twitter user named Neel Khan posted an interview clip of Majid Jahangir from show Benaqaab in which he seem enraged with the government for not assisting him financially.
In the interview, Majid said Sindh Governor Imran Ismail called him to inform him that the government is going to award the comedian with Tamagh-e-Imtiaz.

To which the Fifty Fifty star added that he had been suffering from different diseases for the past 6 years and he isn’t looking forward to any award.
Instead, he needs financial support from the government.
Unfortunately, neither the government arranged any funds nor his colleagues contacted him.

Seeing Majid’s struggles, a Twitter user wrote, “This broke my heart, the person who brings a smile on our lips whenever we think about him is living in such a misery”.
Agreeing with him, other internet users said that if the government continues to remain silent on the health condition of the comedian then he might end up like late Umer Sharif.
On October 2, veteran comedian Umer Sharif died in a hospital in Germany while he was being taken to the US for treatment in an air ambulance.
