Yasir Hussain Bears Uncanny Resemblance With Javed Iqbal

Actor Yasir Hussain revealed the first look of his new project, Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story Of A Serial Killer, based on a hard-hearted serial killer who murdered more than 100 children in Lahore between 1998 and 1999.
Yasir shared the poster of the film on his Instagram that says, “Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of A Serial Killer, Coming Soon”.

Actress Ayesha Omar will be playing the role of investigating officer in the film.

Iqbal’s case came into the limelight in 1999 when he wrote a letter to a local newspaper and to the police confessing the rape and murder of 100 runaway boys.
He wrote in the letter that he used to strangle and dismember the victims and disposed of their bodies in acid.
The police launched a historic manhunt for Iqbal but he remained in hiding.
Sometime later, he showed up at the office of Daily Jang on December 30, 1999, and the police arrested him.
Javed Iqbal was sentenced to death in the same manner as he used to kill the children but before the execution, he committed suicide in the prison.
