Another Child Succumbs to Alleged Negligence of Doctors
Mirha was taken for the MRI without the supervision of any anesthesiologist and no check-ups prior to the test
Yet another case of death of a child due to alleged negligence of doctors surfaced on social media that left the users in immense grief.
As per details shared on a Facebook page, the victim Mirha fell ill with high fever and excessive weakness after which the parents took her to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore.
Upon reaching there, the parents were informed that there was no vacant bed in the Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U) and the kid was treated by a drip.

After receiving the initial treatment, Mirha started recovering but the parents remained unaware of the reason behind her illness.
Apparently, the doctors didn’t grasp the situation or deliberately kept it in a veil.
“They started treatment and reassured us that the patient will have a full recovery”, the post read.
After several hours of treatment, the child was feeling well enough and only had weakness.
The doctors, still uncertain of the cause, suggested some tests and MRI.
Mirha was taken for the MRI without the supervision of any anesthesiologist and no check-ups prior to the test.
When her condition deteriorated during the test, she was perforated with the needles several times and after experimenting on her body for hours, the medical staff declared her dead.
The parents were in a shock and blamed on duty doctors for the death of their child.
However, the death certificate showed that Mirha died of meningoencephalitis and cardiopulmonary arrest which the parents claim to be wrong.
“We entrusted the hospital to treat my child’s condition however she was killed through the wrong treatment, serious misdemeanors, and neglect”, the mother said.
