Murder accusation case on Asif Zardari: IHC approves Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application
Islamabad High Court accepted bail application of head of Awami Muslim League in lieu of 50,000 surety bonds
Islamabad High Court has accepted bail application of former Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed. It should be remembered that a case was registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Murree, in which the first bail has been granted.
Pakistan Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed approached the Islamabad High Court for bail. It should be remembered that Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application was rejected by the Judicial Magistrate and the Sessions Court earlier.
The stand taken by Sheikh Rasheed in the petition was that the case was registered against Asif Zardari at the request of a third party for making a statement against him, and cases are being filed to target political revenge.

While giving a statement in front of the court, Sheikh Rasheed said that I am currently in jail, and the police do not need me for any further investigation. I am ready to submit the documents, so may my application be approved.
Later in the morning, the court reserved the verdict after the hearing, which has now been pronounced. And Sheikh Rasheed’s bail application has been approved.
A case was registered against Sheikh Rashid in Abpara police station in Islamabad, on which Sheikh Rashid was in Adiala jail on judicial remand.
Sheikh Rashid’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja argued in the court that Sheikh Rashid is currently on judicial remand and the police do not need to investigate in any further case.
