Something Missing From Sindh Govt’s ‘Rain Emergency’ Circular

The chief minister of Sindh has directed ministers, advisors, and special assistants to carry out emergency duties till the rain emergency is over

Considering the current spell of monsoon, Sindh government has issued ‘Rain emergency circular’, assigning ministers to look after divisions but it has a lot of loopholes that need to be fixed urgently.

Till October 2, heavy rains are expected in the metropolitan city as the remnants of Cyclone Gulab turned into a powerful depression as it entered the Arabian Sea.

A circular has been issued from the CM house, however, there aren’t any contact details shared in the notification.

Miniter Mukesh Kumar Chawala is designated in the South division, while Taimoor Talpur is for Korangi district, Saeed Ghani for East, and Shehla Raza for Central.

Moreover, Liaquat Ali Askani and Waqar Mehdi will be posted in Keamari and west divisions respectively.

Whereas, Jam Khan Shoro for Hyderabad, Sadiq Memon in Thatta, and Rasool Bakhsh Chandio in Sujawal.
