“Through the MoU, INPA will identify a pool of retired Indian Navy personnel for relevant roles as per recruitment standards of Flipkart”, reads the statement.
Flipkart has taken this initiative under its ”Diversity and Inclusion Charter” which aims to offer ex-servicemen opportunities in line with their qualifications and experience.
Flipkart Senior Vice President, Rajneesh Kumar, said Flipkart aims to create a bridge to facilitate ex-servicemen through the FlipMarch program.
The program will enable ex-employees to find opportunities in the corporate world.
Moreover, the statement said that the company will, in turn, enable these individuals to transition to the corporate sector through in-house assimilation and training programs.
While the Indian Navy is entertaining its retired personnel by paving way for them in a leading e-commerce company, the ex-servicemen of Pakistan Army are criticized when the government deploys them in any institution.
